Reed City Lake Fishing Permits may be purchased at the Rec Center or online.  If purchased online, you must pick up at the Rec Center. Anyone fishing must have a current HPD Reed City Lake Fishing Permit and an Illinois Fishing License to fish at the lake.  Fishing is available only on certain days and when the lake is open April 1-October 31.  Ice Fishing is available during the winter on Saturday & Sundays when the ice is over 4 inches thick and the entrance is safe to travel on.  Information will be posted on Fridays for weekend Ice Fishing on our website www.hollispark.org , Facebook and at the Rec Center.  Senior/Veteran Fishing is on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am-Dusk.Adult Fishing is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am - Dusk.   Holidays include Memorial Day and Labor Day.Times:  6:00am to DuskResidents will receive a free Fishing permit with proof of residency (2 forms of id required are Photo ID & Utility or Tax Bill).Non Residents may purchase a pass for Senior $50 and Adult $75 and Senior Couple $75 and Adult Couple $125.  To register for a permit you can stop by the Rec Center during office hours or register online at www.hollispark.org   Permits registered online, will need to pick up their permits at the Rec Center.  Parking Pass must be hung from your rear view mirror for security and staff to see.

Anyone fishing must have a current HPD Reed City Lake Fishing Permit and an Illinois Fishing License to fish at the lake.  Fishing is available only on certain days and when the lake is open April 1-October 31.  Ice Fishing is available during the winter on Saturday & Sundays when the ice is over 4 inches thick and the entrance is safe to travel on.  Information will be posted on Fridays for weekend Ice Fishing on our website www.hollispark.org , Facebook and at the Rec Center.  Senior/Veteran Fishing is on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am-Dusk.Adult Fishing is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am - Dusk.   Holidays include Memorial Day and Labor Day.Times:  6:00am to DuskResidents will receive a free Fishing permit with proof of residency (2 forms of id required are Photo ID & Utility or Tax Bill).Non Residents may purchase a pass for Senior $50 and Adult $75 and Senior Couple $75 and Adult Couple $125.  To register for a permit you can stop by the Rec Center during office hours or register online at www.hollispark.org   Permits registered online, will need to pick up their permits at the Rec Center.  Parking Pass must be hung from your rear view mirror for security and staff to see.

T-Ball:  A co-ed league for girls and boys 4-6 yrs old as of May 1st 2021. Players bat off of a tee. We play games with Lake Camelot & Hanna City.   Baseball:  Age is as of May 1st 2021.  A league for boys that participates in the Kickapoo Valley League (KVL) baseball league.  Games and Locations depends on the number of teams and the communities involved.  Baseball teams available are: Instructional League- coached pitched (7-8 yrs); Minor League players pitch (9-10 yrs); Major League (11-12 yrs).Pony League (13-15 yrs) age as of August 1st.  Volunteer Coaches needed for each league.  KVL mandatory coaches meeting Sunday, May 2 at First Presbyterian Church in Elmwood, IL : 5:00pm  8U5:45pm 10U 6:30pm 12U 7:15pm 14U
