Reed City Lake Fishing Permits are available currently online or by mail. Anyone fishing must have a current HPD Reed City Lake Fishing Permit and an Illinois Fishing License to fish at the lake.  Fishing is available only on certain days and when the lake is open April 1-October 31. Senior/Veteran Fishing is on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am-Dusk.Adult Fishing is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am - Dusk.   Holidays include Memorial Day and Labor Day.Times:  6:00am to DuskResidents will receive a free Fishing permit with proof of residency and Non Residents may purchase a pass for Senior $45 and Adult $65 and Senior Couple $65 and Adult Couple $105.  Guest passes are not available while the Rec Center Office is closed. While the office is closed, permits may be registered for online or mail in the fishing permit form.  Once registration is received, your fishing permit & parking pass will be mailed to you.  Please wait until your permits arrive to go fishing.  Parking Pass must be hung from your rearview mirror for security and staff to see.

Judo  classes offer fitness, fun and self-confidence.   Our instructor George Weers is a black belt 7th degree, who is a certified Master Coach with 50 years of Judo experience.  He has coached at the US Olympic Training Center and the National Judo Institute, directed National Training Camps and has served on the US Judo Association Board of Directors for ten years. Judo uniforms are available through the course instructor.

No prior experience is required and all levels are welcome. No equipment is necessary but you will want to dress comfortably. You are welcome to bring your own mat, but we do have some to share.

Judo  classes offer fitness, fun and self-confidence.   Our instructor George Weers is a black belt 7th degree, who is a certified Master Coach with 50 years of Judo experience.  He has coached at the US Olympic Training Center and the National Judo Institute, directed National Training Camps and has served on the US Judo Association Board of Directors for ten years. Judo uniforms are available through the course instructor.

5:00 PM - 10:00 PM    Hollis Hollies - New Lighted Trees
Hollis Hollies is a program that started in 2002 as a way to celebrate the holiday season.You can purchase a lighted Christmas tree which includes a sign that you chose the wording.  The trees line the sides of the Hollis Recreation Center. We also offer ornaments for the outdoor Memorial Tree or the indoor Military Tree. In 2019, we offered lighted trees at the Butler Haynes Administration office and Reader Park.   New trees cost $40.00 and renewal trees are $30.00.  New ornaments are $10.00 and renewal ornaments are $5.00.    Forms are available at our website www.hollispark.org or at the Hollis Recreation Center.
