Reed City Lake Fishing Permits may be purchased at the Rec Center or online.  If purchased online, you must pick up at the Rec Center. Anyone fishing must have a current HPD Reed City Lake Fishing Permit and an Illinois Fishing License to fish at the lake.  Fishing is available only on certain days and when the lake is open April 1-October 31.  Ice Fishing is available during the winter on Saturday & Sundays when the ice is over 4 inches thick and the entrance is safe to travel on.  Information will be posted on Fridays for weekend Ice Fishing on our website www.hollispark.org , Facebook and at the Rec Center.  Senior/Veteran Fishing is on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am-Dusk.Adult Fishing is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am - Dusk.   Holidays include Memorial Day and Labor Day.Times:  6:00am to DuskResidents will receive a free Fishing permit with proof of residency (2 forms of id required are Photo ID & Utility or Tax Bill).Non Residents may purchase a pass for Senior $50 and Adult $75 and Senior Couple $75 and Adult Couple $125.  To register for a permit you can stop by the Rec Center during office hours or register online at www.hollispark.org   Permits registered online, will need to pick up their permits at the Rec Center.  Parking Pass must be hung from your rear view mirror for security and staff to see.

Judo  classes offer fitness, fun and self-confidence.   Our instructor George Weers is a black belt 7th degree, who is a certified Master Coach with 50 years of Judo experience.  He has coached at the US Olympic Training Center and the National Judo Institute, directed National Training Camps and has served on the US Judo Association Board of Directors for ten years. Judo uniforms are available through the course instructor.

Reed City Lake Fishing Permits may be purchased at the Rec Center or online.  If purchased online, you must pick up at the Rec Center. Judo  classes offer fitness, fun and self-confidence.   Our instructor George Weers is a black belt 7th degree, who is a certified Master Coach with 50 years of Judo experience.  He has coached at the US Olympic Training Center and the National Judo Institute, directed National Training Camps and has served on the US Judo Association Board of Directors for ten years. Judo uniforms are available through the course instructor.

Anyone fishing must have a current HPD Reed City Lake Fishing Permit and an Illinois Fishing License to fish at the lake.  Fishing is available only on certain days and when the lake is open April 1-October 31.  Ice Fishing is available during the winter on Saturday & Sundays when the ice is over 4 inches thick and the entrance is safe to travel on.  Information will be posted on Fridays for weekend Ice Fishing on our website www.hollispark.org , Facebook and at the Rec Center.  Senior/Veteran Fishing is on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am-Dusk.Adult Fishing is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am - Dusk.   Holidays include Memorial Day and Labor Day.Times:  6:00am to DuskResidents will receive a free Fishing permit with proof of residency (2 forms of id required are Photo ID & Utility or Tax Bill).Non Residents may purchase a pass for Senior $50 and Adult $75 and Senior Couple $75 and Adult Couple $125.  To register for a permit you can stop by the Rec Center during office hours or register online at www.hollispark.org   Permits registered online, will need to pick up their permits at the Rec Center.  Parking Pass must be hung from your rear view mirror for security and staff to see.

The Ron Draper Kid's Fishing Derby is an annual event held on the 1st Saturday in June at Reed City Lake.  The event is free and all you need to bring is your own poles and bait.  No Minnows allowed. Register online or at the Recreation Center.  Check in starts at 8:30am at Reed City Lake.Fishing begins at 9:00am and ends at 10:00am.  Awards follow for 8 & under; 9-11 yrs and 12-15 yrs plus the Most Fish Caught and the Biggest Fish.

A summer camp program will be offered at Illini Bluffs Elementary School.  Campers will participate in a variety of activities, crafts and Friday Field Trips, plus each week will have a theme.  Pre registration is required for all Fridays.  Maximum of 40 spots available each day.  Daily and weekly rates available.   Through a program funded by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Illini Bluffs #327 is offering breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack at no charge, for all students participating in the summer camp program. This is a unique program, and at this point, will be for the summer of 2021 only.
